Composition: Each ml contains Florfenicol 300 mg. . Florfenicol is a synthetic broad spectrum antibiotic effective against most Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Florfenicol for Preventive and therapeutic treatment of respiratory tract infections in cattle due to Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida and Histophilus somni. Dosage and method of administration: IM route: 20 mg/kg bodyweight (1ml/15kg) to be administered twice 48 hours apart. Or SC route: 40 mg/kg bodyweight (2ml/15kg) to be administered once only.

Uses | for treatment of bovine respiratory disease (BRD) associated with Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, and Histophilus somni, and for the treatment of bovine interdigital phlegmon (foot rot, acute interdigital necrobacillosis, infectious pododermatitis) associated with Fusobacterium necrophorum and Bacteroides melaninogenicus. Also, it is indicated for the control of respiratory disease in cattle at high risk of developing BRD associated with Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, and Histophilus somni. |
